We take pride in awarding scholarships to college bound students, volunteering, making donations, and hosting social events that raise money for our various causes. Our membership consists of members initiated at colleges, universities, and Alumni chapters from around the country and globe.

Tacoma WA Alumni Chapter Western Province of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.

The mission of the Tacoma Kappa League Program is to become a mentoring institution that creates the next generation of America's influential, inspirational, and transformational leaders of the 21st Century. For all members of the Tacoma Kappa league Program to graduate and attend a 4-year post-secondary institution. To create a new generation of dynamic, influential and inspirational young leaders that will make an impact in all five sectors of society throughout the world. For the Kappa League to be used as an instrument to create an environment of positive peer pressure through academic and community service led program our Kappa League program was designed in direct response to the continuing crisis in the African American community regarding our younger males. The program addresses some of those problems facing the African American youth through a variety of seminars, lectures, field trips and workshops which are all geared toward improving such characteristics as the student's cultural awareness/diversity, academic achievement, emotional, mental, and physical development.

The mission of the Tacoma Kappa League Program is to become a mentoring institution that creates the next generation of America’s influential, inspirational, and transformational leaders of the 21st Century. I am Lyle Crews, Jr., and I am both humbled and exhilarated to serve as the Polemarch of the Tacoma Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. I warmly welcome you to our digital abode on behalf of our esteemed Tacoma Alumni Chapter.

Our unwavering commitment is anchored in our fraternity’s motto: “Achievement in Every Field of Human Endeavor”. The visionary ideals of our ten illustrious founders resonate deeply with me. They believed that the essence of success transcends academic excellence and encompasses achievements in every facet of life, be it personal, social, or community-oriented. We are on a mission, not just to leave an indelible mark on the Tacoma community but to ignite the flames of youth development, mold the leaders of tomorrow, and cultivate a culture of accomplishment both within our fraternity and the broader community.

In our quest for excellence, we are ardently focused on recruiting, reclaiming, and retaining the distinguished Brothers of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. I personally extend an invitation to any brother in the Seattle area to unite with us during our monthly chapter gatherings. Your presence and insights would be invaluable.
